This gauge is ideally suited to most industrial applications where high accuracy and durability is required. Gauges are available with either brass / bronze internals, all stainless steel internals, or Monel Bourdon tube and socket with stainless steel movement. All gauges are retro-fillable and totally repairable. A number of optional accessories are available either as factory fitted or retro-fitted (see spec sheet). (Conforming to military specification) the high impact movement protects against entanglement of the hairspring in the pinion and segment - the most common cause of gauge failure. In April 1991 we were awarded our SABS/ISO 9001 (quality management system) and SABS 1062 ratings for gauge performance, while our CSIR certified laboratory was specially constructed so that we could trace pressure accuracy to national standards and provide a much needed local, N.C.S. traceable, calibration service. As a direct result of our strong customer focus and orientation, we have led the way in such product innovations as colour coded plastic cased gauges (for additional safety and identification requirements), gauge repair facilitation and a unique liquid filling methodology with proper seal procedures in assembly. Also, our manufacturing facility and management systems are structured to help us produce short runs economically and to reduce turnaround times for our customers.
